Bishop Lawrence Subrato Howlader, CSC was born on Sept. 11, 1965 in Noborgram. He was ordained to the priesthood on Dec. 31, 1994, and appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Chittagong on May 7, 2009. His episcopal ordination took place on July 3, 2009. Bishop Howlader chairs the CBCB's Episcopal Commission for Clergy and Religious.
