Six different voices resonating ideas for a better world
William Grimm
, a native of New York City, is a missioner and presbyter who since 1973 has served in Japan, Hong Kong and Cambodia. He is also the presenter of the popular Sunday homilies telecast through UCA News each week. A collection of those homilies has been published as Dialogue of One.
Jesuit Father Michael Kelly
is a media professional with 40 years of experience in writing and reporting, editing and publishing, TV and broadcast radio production in Asia and Australia. For 10 years he led Asia’s leading Church media organization - UCA News. Currently, he is the English language publisher of the respected Jesuit periodical La Civilta Cattolica.
Benedict Rogers
, a rights activist and journalist is the East Asia team leader of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a rights organisation specialising in freedom of religion or belief. He received the US government’s International Religious Freedom Champion award in 2021.
Jesuit Father Kuruvilla Pandikattu (born 1957)
, is Chair Professor of JRD Tata Foundation for Business Ethics at XLRI, Jamshedpur, and was a professor of Physics, Philosophy and Religion at Jnana Deepa Institute of Philosophy and Theology in Pune, India. Author/editor of more than 45 books and 240 academic articles, Dr. Pandikattu's main topics of research are ethics, anthropology, artificial intelligence, life management and transhumanism.
Jesuit Father Myron J. Pereira
, based in Mumbai, has spent more than five decades as an academic, journalist, editor and writer of fiction. He contributes regularly to UCA News on religious and socio-cultural topics.
Father Shay Cullen
is an Irish Columban missionary who has worked in the Philippines since 1969. In 1974, he founded the Preda Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to protecting the rights of women and children and campaigning for freedom from sex slavery and human trafficking.
Mary Aileen Diez-Bacalso
is a human rights activist and journalist based in Manila and contributes columns to international publications, mostly highlighting right issues in Asia. Currently, she is president of the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED).
