Bishop Gabriel Kujur, S.J. was born on July 7, 1942 at Mahuadanr village, a small town of Daltonganj in Jharkhand state. He was ordained a priest on May 8, 1978. He was appointed bishop on Nov. 11, 1997 and was ordained Bishop on Jan. 8, 1998. No other positions he holds in national and international Church offices.
