Ben worked with leading publications like the New Indian Express, Deccan Chronicle, Business Standard, Times of India and Muscat Daily. He writes about Asian politics and human rights issues.

Father Shay Cullen is an Irish missionary priest of the Missionary Society of St. Columban working in the Philippines since 1969. In 1974, he founded the Preda Foundation, an active charitable organization dedicated to protecting the rights of women and children and campaigning for freedom from sex slavery and human trafficking.

Joseph Peter Calleja, also known as Jaypee, is a lawyer and journalist based in Manila, the Philippines. Jaypee is also the editor of Paris-based Bayard publications in the Philippines and a member of the Lay-Religious Alliance of the Assumptionists. He began his association with UCA News in 2020.

Benedict Rogers, a rights activist and journalist is the East Asia team leader of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a rights organisation specialising in freedom of religion or belief. He received the US government’s International Religious Freedom Champion award in 2021.Based in London, Rogers writes about issues of religion and rights in Hong Kong and China, his area of specialisation.

Robert is editor-in-chief of La Croix International, the English web edition of French daily La Croix. Since 1986, he has lived in Rome, where he studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University before working 11 years at Vatican Radio and then another decade as correspondent for The Tablet of London.

William J Grimm

William Grimm, a native of New York City, is a missioner and presbyter who since 1973 has served in Japan, Hong Kong and Cambodia. A graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York, he is the publisher of UCA News. Based in Tokyo, he regularly contributes columns. He is also the presenter of the popular Sunday homilies telecast through UCA News each week. A collection of those homilies has been published as Dialogue of One.
